| The Athenaeum’s style, unique in its kind in Florence and inspired by the elements of contemporary design, is at the same time intrinsically linked to the Tuscan territory. A couple of examples: precious marbles which we used as wall treatments as well as in room decor, fine leathers used in the bedrooms (our headboards for example) and in the public areas (the furnishings). Wood, a very visible element in the Athenaeum, gives a charming sense of warmth to our guests. The hotel is also “furnished” by the use of special lighting techniques: for example a computerized system which allows us to change the color tones in the public areas according to the atmosphere we want create (in different season, different hours of the day or special events and occasions).

From motorway (A1/A11 exit Firenze north) follow the signs for "Viali di circonvallazione" and to the center; you must reach the Fortezza Da Basso and then follow the direction to Piazza della Liberta' (Libertà Square).
Here, turn right in Via Cavour.

L'Athenaeum est situé dans la rue centrale nominée Cavour, à proximité des principaux monuments florentins et près des zones des foires. Grâce à sa position privilégiée, il est indiqué pour des vacances ou pour un voyage d'affaires. Les espaces communs sont vastes et lumineux, le bar est accueillant et le restaurant est raffiné avec un patio en plein air où l'on peut dîner.
Pour les golfeurs, sur une grande terrasse au premier étage il y a un «putting green».
Les chambres, de différentes typologies, sont meublées de façon moderne, aux couleurs chaudes et avec tous les conforts. Les salles de bain sont élégantes et confortables.
Pour les meetings il y a deux salles technologiquement équipées.
