| The Excelsior Grand Hotel is a modern and efficient hotel located in the centre of the lively city of Catania, a stone’s throw from the natural scenery of Etna.
The hotel has 176 elegantly furnished rooms of which: 158 double rooms, 5 junior suites and 13 suites. All the rooms have the necessary comforts and technological plus as PC socket. Individual safes with personal combination locks are provided in every room.
An entire floor has been reserved for non-smokers.
The Wellness Centre, equipped with Turkish bath, provides the possibility of a complete and regenerating physical workout.
The spacious conference rooms equipped with the latest facilities are composed of six rooms, from 10 to 130 seats, and a Conference Centre, with its Business Centre and secretarial area, workstation and fax facilities, which can hold up to 350 people. |

• Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA/LICC): Approximate driving time to Excelsior Grand Hotel is 15 minutes and distance is 6 kilometres (4 miles).
The Alibus runs from the airport to the street opposite the hotel, or a taxi costs approximately €20.
• Driving direction: From Catania airport, follow signposts into Catania for Piazza Della Reppublica. The hotel is just off the Via Ventimiglia on the left, before the Piazza della Reppublica.
• The railway station is one kilometre from the hotel.
