| La Rosa sul Mare is situated on the most beautiful hillside of the Plemmirio nature park and sea reserve in Syracuse. The structure with its charming apartments has been completely renovated in 2003. APARTMENTS / SUITES: Particularly charming – open on the sea - furnished in a functional way, with refined old Sicilian furniture of the XVIII century. The apartments have been designed to provide relaxing and comfortable accommodation, in contact with the sea. All the apartments come with a balcony and/or terrace offering stunning views of the sea and are equipped with: kitchen and/or kitchen corner, colour TV, telephone with direct line, a safe for your valuables, hair-dryer and air-conditioning. A panoramic and pleasant overflowing swimming-pool surrounded by palms, caper plants and agaves allows you to admire the coastline, until the far South of the Europe (Capo Passero), while staying completely immerged in the water. |

SPORTS The sea surrounding “La Rosa sul Mare” is recognized as an attraction for divers. On request, it is possible to dive thanks to an agreement between the PADI and SSI Diving Centre and us. Distances: The structure is situated 7 Km from Syracuse, where clients can visit the archaeological park and the city centre of Syracuse, the island of Ortigia. | From Catania airport: Depart Aeroporto Fontana Rossa, go straight over small roundabout following signs for Siracusa. Follow signs for A18 & Siracusa. Take A18 (south) sign-posted to Siracusa & Ragusa. Turn-off A18, onto E45 (SS114), going south towards Siracusa & Ragusa. Follow E45 –SS114- for 50 km towards Siracusa. (mostly dual carriageway). Turn -off E45-SS114 sign-posted Siracusa at km 152,800, (before sign-posted to GELA or to Cassibile) turn on the right to SIRACUSA. (Do not take earlier turn-off for Siracusa Nord). Follow SS124 for approximately 7 km until you reach the outskirts of Siracusa. You will arrive at a double-rouddabout, take second exit on first roundabout and first exit on second roundabout. Follow Via Columba past MacDonalds and various car garages for 1 km, until you reach a T junction. Turn right at T junction into Via Elorina and follow the SS115 for approximately 3,3 km until you see a Q8 Petrol Station on the left hand side. Turn left into the road immediately after the petrol station, which is sign-posted “Arenella” SP 58. Follow the road for approximately 2 km until you reach a roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout and you will pass an “alimentare COCA COLA” (small grocery shop) on the left. Follow the road until you reach a right hand turn which is Via Dei Diamanti. Turn right into Via Dei diamanti and continue along this road (bearing to left) until you reach a large open space on the left. To your right you will see a property with large white gates, which is n° 16. Ring the entryphone LA ROSA SUL MARE or Reception or Custode. During the way you will find sign-poster LA ROSA SUL MARE. |
