| GENERALE DESCRIPTION The Hotel Sant'Angelo is a little family-run hotel, very central, silent and very welcoming, the ideal place for a charming contact with the city of Rome. The hotel is located in the historical, artistic and economical centre of the city only a few minutes away from the major cultural places such as the Vatican city, the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Via del Corso, the Pantheon, Via Cola di Rienzo. Furthermore, in order to discover new perspectives of the city you may enjoy the mini cruise on the river only 10 minutes away from our hotel. All our rooms are provided with bathrooms, showers and hair-dryer, telephones, sat TVs and air-conditioning (on request). During the morning, you can enjoy our breakfast buffet complete with a wide range of sweet (brioches, pies, yogurt, cornflakes, marmalades, etc) and salted food (bread, ham, cheese) hot and cold drinks (orange juice, American coffee, cappuccino, the.) USEFUL INFORMATION Parking: A garage is available by the hotel - prices range from a minimum of 25,00 € up to a maximum of 30,00 € from 12:00 (midday) to 12:00; Papal audience: Wednesday’s Papal audience can be booked free of charge at the reception desk; Internet: Internet connection is available by the reception desk; Pick-Up – Transfers: upon request, we can arrange a taxi service from/to the Roman airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino with private cars provided with air conditioning at a fixed price of 49,00 € for a maximum of 4 people. Better rates can be agreed for bigger groups. For reservation, please, send your flight details; Tours: directly from the Hotel, sight-seeing tours around Rome, Ostia Antica, Castelli Romani, Tivoli; full day excursions to Assisi, Naples, Capri, Pompei, Sorrento, Florence. More information and reservation only at the reception desk; Restaurants: a wide choice of typical restaurants is available nearby the hotel: Newspapers: Italian and English newspapers are available by the reception: Fax, photocopy, printing: a few services such as faxes, the printing of coloured photocopies and texts are charged; Luggage deposit: a room for luggage is available completely free of charge; Safe: a little safe is available free of charge by the reception desk; Booking: theatres, concerts, operas, football games, trains and the most important happenings in Rome can be booked directly from the hotel; Bikes, motor-bikes, cars: you can choose your own way to drive around the city by he reception desk; Ironing: an iron and a board are available by the reception; Reception: 24/24 hours Spoken languages: Italiano, English, Espanol, Russo. DIRECTION TO THE HOTEL Be careful of the taxi drivers, use only the ones with taxi meters in the authorized parking places. Be careful, as well, of those who offer hotels out of the legal hotel reservation. If you come to Rome by TRAIN, you can reach our Hotel by : a) taxi (it will cost about € 13,00); b) bus 492 or 70 (ticket € 1,00) from Termini Station (the main train station) towards Piazza Cavour. Step down in P.za Cavour and follow the street near the white church, that is Via Marianna Dionigi. If you come to Rome by PLANE, you can reach our Hotel by : c) taxi (it will cost about Euro 50,00); d) train (it will cost about Euro 10,00) that arrives to platform # 22 in Termini station; than follow points a) or b). If you come to Rome by CAR, you can reach our Hotel by : e) from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) exit #1 = Aurelia or #6 = Flaminia (be careful, there are two of them) to Roma Centro, Vaticano and, once you are there, ask for Piazza Cavour. Via Marianna Dionigi is the street near the white church. | Anonymous (United Kingdom) Fantastic !! Great service, very helpful staff who speak english very well and smile when you attempt some Italian. Grand entrance, and the hotel was always clean and tidy. The hotel is literally 10-15mins stroll to the Vatican City,and across the river Tiber it is only 10-15 mins away from the Spanish Steps and the popular shopping and eating areas. There are a few snack places and restaurants close by if you need something to eat too. We would without a doubt book at the hotel if visiting Roma again....Ciao. |
