Description
A sunny location for travelers and a center for therapeutic visits in the summer and winter, located in the high plain of the same name, between the Vallagarina and the Astico Valley. The ski area is formed around six distinct centers, scattered over the high plain: Folgaria, Costa, Serrada, Francolini, Fondo grande and Fondo piccolo. The many slopes, easy or of average difficulty,

are served by modern lift facilities, some of which are furnished with cannons for artificial snow. We note the "Paradiso,” "Cornetto-Costa,” "Salizzona" and "Martinella Nord.” A special ski pass allows one to take advantage of the nearby facilities of the high plain of Ladrone. Various alternatives are offered to cross-country skiers: the slope located near the sanctuary to the Madonna delle Grazie, 5 km long, the "Forte Cherle" and "Carbonare-Elble” slopes, each with two circuits, and the cross-country center at Coe Pass. The many huts scattered throughout the high plain furnish optimum bases for alpine skiers who want to reach the highest summits.
To see, the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie, the chapel of S. Valentino and the Austro-Hungarian War cemetery.
